About the Sauce: Nurse sharks are mellow by nature, but large in size, and unlike most other sharks, smooth to the touch. Like the nurse shark, this green Jalapeño sauce has a mellow smooth heat, but huge flavor. Undertones of tomatillo, apple and melon balance the heat from the Jalapeño and Poblano pepper for an approachable, but unforgettable taste.

Uses: Pair this hot sauce with carnitas tacos, scrambled eggs and toast, and it gives chicken a great hearty flavorful kick!

The Spicy Shark's Story

 The Spicy Shark founder Gabe grew up on a household rule when it came to his mother's cooking. The rule was that he didn't have to like it, but no matter what it was, he always had to try it. Almost always, Gabe liked his mom's dishes, and the spicier they were, the more he enjoyed them.

While Gabe loves hot and spicy foods, he created his hot sauce company for another reason: to draw attention to the ruthless hunting practices used against sharks. Alarmed by the cruel yet commonplace practice of shark-finning, Gabe hopes that his hot sauce brand can increase awareness, as well as promote the love and respect that Gabe has for sharks.
