Sacred Sauce founder Allan Price grew up in a world of cultural diversity. With a British father, Madeiran mom, and Portuguese cousins, Allan gained an appreciation of different cultures and flavors from a young age. As a kid in South Africa, Allan always had the same lunch: a sandwich paired with a generous smearing of mayonnaise and hot chilies.
While chilies have always been a part of Allan's life, he didn't consider starting a career in hot sauce until being prompted to do so by a mentor. It took some convincing, but Allan soon went all-in on becoming a successful hot sauce entrepreneur!
He was particularly intentional with his first two hot sauce recipes, using his unique cultural background to craft hot sauces that would elevate his meals. Allan found that the Sacred Salad Sauce was the perfect way to spice up healthy salads, while the Sacred Sauce added an exotic flavor to any homemade dish.
