Hey there,
Summer is here! Our newsletter is late because we’ve been busy transplanting peppers and selling hot sauce at farmer's markets, but better late than never!
There's more to come on what we're growing, but we’ll start off with some maker stories from Trinidad and Tobago before introducing the new summer curated hot sauce boxes - perfect gifts forFather’s Day!
The Story of Bazodee
First up, I'm excited to share an amazing conversation I had with Debra Sandler, founder ofBazodee. Debra has an inspiring story - born in Venezuela and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, she came to the US for college and found a passion for business and marketing. Now her focus is on sharing the flavors of Trinidadian kitchens by launching Bazodee. Bazodee’s line of sauces and marinades is Debra’s way of honoring her aunt’s beloved recipes and sharing some of the flavors that have been so important to her family for years. You can listen to our conversation on the Craft Hot Sauce Podcast and read her story here.
We also interviewed the guys fromTrini Pepper Sauce on the Craft Hot Sauce Podcast, and if you want to give the fruity, island flavor a try (we think you should), here it is:Trini Pepper Sauce &Trini Pepper Sauce - Hot
